Lego Love

Whats better than doing something that you absolutely love!?!? How about doing TWO things that you love at the same time! That's what we did today! ... It doesn't hurt that a little learning was thrown in too!!

The Lego bin is dragged out almost everyday here at the house. Houses and garages are built for our cars and trucks. Towers are built as high as they can reach before tumbling over. And lets not forget the Santa set that brings cheer all year round!! What else do we do eeeeevery day? ART! Eds been on a stamping kick lately but was getting pretty tired of the lonely ol' Xmas set we had so we looked around the house for a way to spice it up. And I'm sure that you've guessed by now what we chose ... our Legos!

I highly recommend trying this! I think that I had as much fun as Ed did with this one :)

First we chose a small tray full of Legos we thought might make some neat stamps.

Big and small. Squares, rectangles, circles. Windows and wheels. And a few oddly shaped extras.

Then we inked them up and went to work!!

 Don't forget a Lego has two sides!

FYI: stack Legos one on top of another to make them a bit easier to grasp!

Look what we made!!

Take it a step further! Look for shapes, count dots, build a picture!
